Historical Society Seeks Community Input

The Washington County Historical Society will be seeking the input of the public on four dates this coming summer. The Society is seeking community input about the direction of the Society and its vision for the future, and would like assistance in determining an action plan to help the Society continue its mission of "preserving, collecting and disseminating" the history of Washington County and the state of Minnesota.

The four community sessions will be: Monday, June 18th at the Bayport Library; Wednesday, June 20th at the Hugo City Hall; Tuesday, June 26th at the Stillwater City Hall; and Monday, July 2nd at the Park Grove Branch Library in Cottage Grove. All sessions will begin at 7 p.m.

There will be a short presentation by WCHS staff and Board members showing the growth of the Society, from 1934 to present, and where the Society is heading in the next few years.
