PROGRAM INFO:

PART TWO of White Bear’s Notorious Gangsters! Presented by White Bear Lake Area Historical Society’s Executive Director Sara Hanson. The White Bear area was a haven for the 1920s and ‘30s era gangsters who wanted to get away from it all. Join us as we take a deeper dive into the stories of visitors such as Ma Barker and Alvin “Creepy” Karpis – the Bureau of Investigation’s only Public Enemy Number 1 to be taken alive and live to tell his side of the story.

Learn more about the White Bear Lake Area Historical Society on their website

Join us also for PART ONE at the Washington County Heritage Center on September 14!
